JC Slurry Pump 2″ to 8″ (Medium Slurry)
The JC Slurry pump is designed for medium slurry applications with efficiency in mind. With the adjustable wear plate, the efficiency of the pump can be calibrated over time without the disassembly of the pump. The pumps are available with an outlet size from 2″ up to 8″. The pumps deliver a head of up to 80m at speeds less than 1800 RPM and a maximum flow of up to 1000 mᶟ/h.

Applications for JC Slurry Pump:
- Water Sludge, Fracking Slurries, Carbon Slurry, Clay & Sand Slurries
- Paper Mill Wastes & Liquors, Soda Ash, Raw Sugar Liquor, Dirty Water
- 70% Kaolin Clay, Wet Scrubber Systems, Lime Mud
- Precipitated CaCO3, Ceramic Slurry, Fly Ash Slurry, Water and Molasses
Features:
- In the smaller size pumps, solids of up to 0% of the pumps discharge size can be passed.
- In the larger VJC models, solids of up to 25% of the discharge size can be handled.
- S.G’s to 1.4 can be pumped.
Performance:
- Heads in excess of 80m can be achieved at speed of less than 1800rpm.
- Best efficiency point varies from the mid-50’s in the smaller sizes & to the mid-70’s in the larger sized pumps.
JC Slurry Pump Design Features
- Casing – Extra pump-out vane to reduce stuffing box pressure, it keeps solids out of stuffing box.
- Heavy duty shaft – Rugged shaft design to handle high loads of vibration
- Impeller – Back pump-out vane to reduce pressure in stuffing box, it keeps solids out of stuffing box
- External impeller adjustment – Maintains original performance by adjusting screws without disassembly of pump.
- Discharge nozzle – Can be rotated to any of eight different positions.
Capabilities
- In smaller size pumps, solids of up to 50% of the pump discharge size can be passed
- In larger VJC Models, solids of up to 25% of the discharge size can be handled.
